Benefits
Memberships/Fees
Each resident receives annual American Academy of Pediatrics membership along with annual subscription to Pediatric Review and Education Program (PREP). Fees will also be covered for the yearly American Board of Pediatrics In-Service Exam and biannual PALS, NRP, BLS courses/recertification.
Lab Coats
Residents are provided with two personalized lab coats at the beginning of their intern year.Ìý
Annual Book Allowance
Residents are allowed to use $300/year for educational material of their choosing (books, question banks, Med Study, etc.).
Board Review
Each resident is provided with an annual subscription to PREP The Curriculum through the AAP. In addition, each resident is provided with a yearly subscription to Rosh Review question bank.Ìý


Meals
- Lunch is provided during weekly Academic Half Days.
- Meal tickets are provided for residents who work a 24-hour call.ÌýÌý
Travel
- PGY-1: Not eligible for travel stipend
- PGY-2: Up to $400 and 3 days for a regional or national meeting
- PGY-3: Up to $600 and 5 days for a regional or national meeting
Vacation
- PGY-1: 3 weeks (15 customary working days*) + up to 5 flex days
- PGY-2: 4 weeks (20 customary working days*)
- PGY-3: 4 weeks (20 customary working days*)
- Sick Leave - 15 days with pay per contract year, July 1 – June 30Ìý
- Paid Leave - FMLA available after 1 year of employment.
*Customary working days: Monday – FridayÌý
