Curriculum

The educational and clinical experiences at ÑÇɫӰ¿â begin with a strong foundation in high quality, compassionate patient care. Our faculty deliver excellent general and subspecialty pediatric care, creating a rich learning environment for residents.

Education is woven into daily clinical practice. Informal teaching, bedside discussions, and case based conversations between faculty and house staff occur frequently throughout the day in addition to formal educational sessions. With more than 100 full-time and clinical faculty involved in resident education, trainees benefit from a wide range of expertise and perspectives.

Resident responsibility increases steadily over the three years of training. As they progress, residents transition from learners to teachers, guiding medical students and junior trainees in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This professional-to- professional interaction is a key factor in helping residents grow into confident, independent pediatricians.
